About

Natan Trolka

I was 7 when I started trading Yu-Gi-Oh cards in school. A few years later I was buying crates of Lucozade, bringing them to sports days and selling the bottles one by one. I did not call it business. I just liked making money from something I had worked out myself.

For years I said I was good with computers without doing much to prove it. I never studied computer science. Then AI came along and I could build the things that had been sitting in my head for years.

My first try was an Etsy shop selling digital assets for video and photo editing: textures, effects, environments and templates. It went nowhere. I had done no market research, wanted a quick sale, and had no clue how a product business worked.

Loopself was next. I built the first version with a co-founder in April 2025. It is an AI journaling app for people who want to understand why they keep doing the same things. We also made the Loopself Quarterly Journal, which you can buy on Amazon.

I started Otomatic Digital that September after talking to owners who were doing well but had no time to sit down and work out where AI could help. That is the job now: find the admin wasting people's time and build something that takes it off their plate.

Since May 2026 I have mentored at Inner City Enterprise in Dublin. I have met with more than 10 founders so far and work 1:1 with one on scaling and operations.

Before that I was DJing, taking photos and editing video. I have been DJing since 2017, played around the UK and ran events in the UK and Melbourne. You learn to watch a room, see what people are responding to, and change the plan before it goes flat.
